Nam Pai Chuan HQ end of year 2022 message

Dear Direct students at my centre at the NPC HQ in Golders Green and Non-HQ instructors abroad and in the United Kingdom

Firstly I wish you all a very good Christmas Break. Even if you (like me) not of the Christian Faith, we should nevertheless celebrate it as a time of Harmony and getting together never forgetting the need for order and structure.
The opposite of order and structure is “anarchy” and all the Chinese traditions of Taoism, Confucianism as well as the assimilated Buddhist life style- abhors anarchy.
When we have order in our own being we can help others and communicate what knowledge we have been privileged to acquire in our lives but not otherwise.

Secondly now that we have now stopped our formal training sessions for the year. I do not stop my personal training and practice, and neither should you.
I recommend reflection on your past year of study and practice, daily stretching and limbering and practice of your form work. If you have practice apparatus such as a bag and a wooden dummy, now is the time to use them on a daily basis if you can.
The System has done well this year, not only at home within our own ranks as well as the structure of the TAB which is now a cleaner and more United and fuller fist - as well as Internationally.

Thirdly it is always well to have a future goal to look forward to and to achieve so I make you the following Christmas offer: -
I shall be visiting our NPC Centre in Brussels, Belgium on the weekend of the 4th and 5th March 2023 for their Belgian grading and to teach.
I will be teaching from Saturday afternoon when I arrive (from about 4 pm) , we will all go out for dinner together after that, and on Sunday the 5th we shall have their grading and then a series of classes (including Basic Chi work) until it is time for me to return by Eurostar in the evening.
I am staying at a hotel and the grading is at the St. Boniface Secondary school in Ixelles, Brussels as will the classes.
If you need help in finding accommodation near the grading and session centre let me know and I will put you in touch with the Belgian instructors.
My offer to all of you is that you pay your own way and find yourself able to train with us in Brussels then I will teach you in those sessions for free. Please bring your full uniform so that we can involved you as partners for the grading levels.
And least but not least I wish you a wonderful start to the New Year which is the Chinese year of the Rabbit. Chinese New Year is on Sunday the 22nd January 2023
